Pretty intuitive...(spoiler coming)

Except that you need to know or look up morse code to win

WTF?!

The ONLY redeeming quality in this game is the one that I personally pay the least attention to in any game: the graphics. Put simply, this game sucks. Especially the difficulty. You have three ships. the enemy has 5-10. Nothing too bad right? games everywhere have worse odds than that, right? WRONG! For one thing, the "attacking" means that you change into a shooting game, in which one of your three ships is pitted against a seemingly unending amount of enemies until either you die (the most likely option), time runs out, or the enemies' health bar runs out. By the way, the enemies' health depletes about one tenth of the speed that yours does. the music is banal and repetitive, and the game suffers from a bad case of "All your base" style translation. I had no idea of what was going on, to be perfectly honest, so maybe I missed something meant to make the game more forgiving. But, yeah, great graphics, dude! Next time, though, focus on making the rest of the game less ass-rapingly hard and more coherent.

This is great!

I'm freaking right now, because Punk-o-matic 1 was one of my favorite games, and this improves on all of the things that made it great! Adding previews for riffs was very welcome, and including the tabs for the songs you create blows my mind! However, the rhythm game for concerts is where the game loses the tenth star. Don't get me wrong, it is extremely fun once you get used to the controls, BUT it is crippled by the lag. I have FiOs and even on the lowest quality on easy the lag was causing me to miss notes. BTW, I don't think that it was the computer, because I just got this machine for Christmas, and it is not used. So, I'm not sure what was going on other than the rest of the awesome features were bogging it down, and if that's my only complaint, I guess that's a good thing, and I wouldn't have taken away the star, except that the rhythm game was so central to the whole.

Evil-Dog responds:

Yah lag is a killer, have you tried reducing some settings for concerts in the options
or tried the offline version on punk-o-matic.net

Holy Crap

This is ridiculous...great job! The Cheshire cat was fucked up, though...and at the end...did the rabbit activate the oystercloud device? is that why it started raining fish? seriously, though, oystercloud and dr. burr should be the main focus of the next game. BTW, the hacking "puzzle" was so easy it was hard...not wanting to spoil it, but I overthought it majorly.

Wow...

This is actually a fun game, but the best part about it is the satirical commentary on the whole "achievement" system that everyone is getting into. From Xbox 360 to WOW to other flash gaming sites, this pointless "replay value" mechanic is so pervasive as to make me question the intelligence of the gaming community as a whole. even me. Yes, I also have gotten caught up in this, and for that I can only offer one thing as my defense: Screw You.

Holy Crap

This is an awesome game with an awesome story. I usually hate puzzle games, but this one was the exactly perfect mix of intuitiveness (if that's a word) and challenge. If I liked puzzle games more it would be a 10.

Awesome

This could literally be a payed for game! Great boss at the beginning, the only thing I would change is the stalactite chase.

WOW!

This is almost as good as some handheld games out there (except the graphics). The music's forgettable, but the story is really, really good, good pacing. My only real complaint is that there is no reliable way to avoid long-range damage, as there is no block button and some attacks (cannon golems) get to you before you can back-dash. Other than that, Freakin' Great Game!

Not great

This game is fairly boring. I stopped playing after two minutes, for one real reason: it wasn't engaging my interest. the drawings for the "characters" are good, but there is no animation throughout the game, no real progression, just a series of, let's face it, card battles using only one card. in fact, the attack animations are a lot like those in the old Game Boy Color game for Pokemon cards. However, I do think that allowing the player to see what cards they are leveling up to get is a good touch, and i liked the progression in technology. It's just that the rest of the game itself wasn't very appealing to me, and I've actually seen flash card games done better (Necronomicon).
